Season Four - Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz

Dorothy thought her adventures in Oz were over. Now, back in Kansas, she expected nothing more dramatic than the trip home and an awkward reunion with Zeb Hugson. But when a series of mysterious earthquakes tears open the earth beneath them, Dorothy, Zeb, a horse named Jim and Dorothy’s kitten Eureka are plunged into a strange underground world of coloured suns, glass cities and impossible magic. Far below the surface, Dorothy finds herself in a land more bizarre than anything she has faced before — and every bit as dangerous.

Their arrival in the Land of the Mangaboos does not go well. The vegetable people who rule this glittering kingdom are suspicious of outsiders, quick to lay blame, and governed by laws Dorothy has never encountered before. As she and her companions are swept deeper into an underground realm where nothing works quite the way it should, Dorothy must once again rely on her courage, her quick thinking, and the unlikely allies at her side.

But Dorothy’s greatest challenge is still to come. For deep below the earth, she comes face to face with the last person she ever expected to see again: the humbug Wizard of Oz. And as the dangers of the underground world grow stranger and more deadly, Dorothy and the Wizard are forced into an uneasy new adventure together. Can either of them survive what lies below? And can Dorothy trust the man who once betrayed her?
