The Chronicles of Oz

An audio drama journey through the realm of the Wizard of Oz

Season Three - Ozma of Oz

The land of Oz is finally at peace for the first time that anyone can remember. Princess Ozma is on the throne, plans for her coronation are underway, everything is under control… until the Emerald City receives a distress call from beyond the Deadly Desert.

In the neighbouring land of Ev, the King is dead and his family stolen by the mighty Nome King, leaving the country in turmoil. Undeterred by the peril, Princess Ozma, displaying her true leadership, takes it upon herself to help her fellow monarch in their time of need. What better way to build international relationships, not to mention show the world what sort of queen Ozma will be. And she’s not alone, she’s taking the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Lion with her, a testament to their unwavering loyalty and bravery. So what could possibly go wrong?

Plenty. The Nome King is a villain more powerful than she has ever faced before – even her fairy magic is no match for him. The journey, a path filled with twists and turns, is fraught with many other dangers, each more unpredictable than the last, beyond the Emerald City walls. Dangers not all of her friends will survive. Will Ozma rescue the Ev Royal Family and keep her friends safe on the way?

Perhaps. But Ozma finds her greatest challenge to be one she had never expected. For Dorothy Gale has returned to Oz…
